Terms and Conditions

By creating an account, completing onboarding, or using Extinguisher Scanner, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you use the app on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that company.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

Extinguisher Scanner assists fire extinguisher technicians with scanning labels, organizing inspections, generating service recommendations, and creating inspection and service report materials.

The app may provide OCR assistance, workflow prompts, local storage, report generation, maintenance interval suggestions, deficiency flags, and other software-generated outputs.

You are responsible for the accuracy of all information entered, scanned, selected, confirmed, edited, exported, or shared through the app.

You must review all inspection records, customer details, extinguisher details, recommendations, deficiencies, dates, report language, and exported PDFs before relying on them or giving them to a customer.

Extinguisher Scanner provides inspection assistance, workflow tools, OCR assistance, and software-generated recommendations for informational purposes only. Recommendations, service intervals, deficiency flags, and report language must be reviewed and verified by the user. Final responsibility for inspection results, compliance determinations, maintenance decisions, service recommendations, and customer-facing reports remains solely with the technician, servicing company, and user.

The app does not replace technician judgment, certification, training, field inspection procedures, manufacturer instructions, applicable standards, or authority having jurisdiction requirements.

Extinguisher Scanner does not provide professional engineering advice, legal advice, code compliance opinions, or guaranteed inspection determinations.

You remain responsible for verifying NFPA standards, manufacturer instructions, authority having jurisdiction requirements, customer requirements, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws before making inspection, maintenance, recharge, repair, replacement, hydrotesting, documentation, or service decisions.

Reports are generated from information that you enter, scan, import, select, or confirm. Extinguisher Scanner does not independently verify inspection results, customer records, extinguisher condition, location information, photos, labels, service dates, or technician notes.

You are responsible for checking that each report is accurate, complete, appropriate for the customer, and compliant with the requirements that apply to the work performed. Extinguisher Scanner does not guarantee that a report will be accepted by a customer, insurer, fire marshal, or authority having jurisdiction.

Customers, locations, extinguisher records, inspections, deficiencies, photos, reports, branding, settings, and other inspection-related records are stored locally on your device. This operational inspection data is separate from your authenticated account and is not currently synced to Extinguisher Scanner cloud storage.

Core inspection and report workflows are designed to work offline. Account creation, sign-in, password recovery, subscription purchase or restore, entitlement verification, account deletion, and some sharing features require an internet connection or access to platform services.

You are responsible for protecting access to your device, maintaining any local backups you need, and exporting or retaining reports and records required for your business. Extinguisher Scanner does not currently provide cloud backup, cloud sync, shared company workspaces, or team management.

Extinguisher Scanner uses Supabase for account creation, sign-in, password recovery, and account identity. An account does not currently include cloud sync of inspection records, photos, customer data, or reports.

For Extinguisher Scanner on iOS, the applicable store is the Apple App Store. For Extinguisher Scanner on Android, the applicable store is Google Play.

Extinguisher Scanner Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription through the applicable store. The Apple App Store or Google Play displays the current price, billing period, and any available trial or introductory offer before purchase. Subscriptions renew and are billed under the terms shown by the store for the selected subscription.

Apple or Google processes store payments. Extinguisher Scanner LLC does not directly receive or store your full payment-card information for those purchases. RevenueCat processes the app account identifier and purchase or subscription history needed to verify entitlement and provide paid features.

You must manage or cancel a subscription through the store where you subscribed. Deleting an Extinguisher Scanner account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription, and Extinguisher Scanner LLC cannot cancel a store subscription on your behalf.

In-app account deletion is available at Settings > Advanced > Destructive Actions > Delete account. If you cannot access the app, you may request deletion at https://extinguisherscanner.com/delete-account.

The protected in-app deletion process requests deletion of the RevenueCat customer record associated with the authenticated account and then deletes the Supabase authentication account. RevenueCat may complete its provider-side processing asynchronously.

Deleting the online account, deleting local app data, and canceling an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription are three separate actions. Online account deletion does not remove local customers, locations, extinguisher records, inspection records, reports, photos, settings, or branding from your device, and it does not cancel store billing.

Use Settings > Advanced > Destructive Actions > Delete local app data to clear the app's local database records and settings. Files exported, shared, saved elsewhere, or retained in device backups must be removed where they are stored.

Use of the app is also subject to the Privacy Policy. It explains which account and subscription data is processed off device, which inspection data stays local, how service providers are used, and how account deletion works.

Extinguisher Scanner is provided as-is and as-available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that the app will meet your compliance or reporting needs.

OCR results, automated suggestions, due date calculations, deficiency flags, report language, and other app outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or unsuitable for a particular inspection or customer.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Extinguisher Scanner LLC and its owners, developers, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, customer claims, compliance findings, inspection failures, or service decisions arising from use of the app.

You agree that the technician, servicing company, and user remain responsible for inspection decisions, compliance determinations, maintenance, recharge, repair, replacement, hydrotesting, documentation, and customer-facing reports.

We may update these Terms and Conditions as the app changes. If a material update is made, the app may require acceptance of the updated terms before continued use.
